The guest relationship framework

From stranger to customer to regular.

One visit becomes a permissioned, owned guest relationship. The restaurant becomes the place the guest remembers, chooses, and calls theirs.

The Who · The Why · The Where

Three beats

One scan carries three questions.

The Who · The Why · The Where

  1. The Who

A guest scans one QR code at the table.

No app, no account, no queue. Entry is a single scan, and it is the only thing asked of the guest before they get something back.

  2. The Why

The guest says what brought them in.

The restaurant rewards them for it and adds that signal to the profile. Value first, data second — never the other way round.

  3. The Where

The restaurant becomes the place they return to.

Each interaction leaves a reason to come back that belongs to the restaurant, not to a platform sitting between them.

The loop

Four steps, and then it starts again.

The same loop runs on every visit. Each pass knows more than the last, so the next reason to return is better than the one before it.

The experience loop: one QR entry leads to immediate value, which builds a progressive profile, which produces a smarter return.
  1. One QR entry

A printed code on the table. The guest scans it and is inside the experience in a single step.

  2. Immediate value

Something worth having arrives before anything is asked for. A reward, a vote, a drop.

  3. Progressive profile

The profile builds one signal at a time, from things the guest chose to say.

  4. Smarter return

The next invitation is shaped by what the profile already knows, and it names its own reason.

70%

of first-time guests never return without a reason to.

A first visit is not a relationship. Without something that gives the guest a reason to choose the same place again, the visit is the whole of it — and the cost of finding that guest has to be paid again to see them twice.

Two surfaces

What the guest sees, and what the owner does about it.

The guest surface is the restaurant's own. The owner console is compact and operational — every number ends in an action.

Guest

Inside the phone

The restaurant's brand, the restaurant's voice. Sales framing never appears here.

Illustrative sample data

Karaoke regulars are your most reliable Thursday.

Guests who joined on a karaoke night return at nearly twice the rate of guests who joined on any other night, and they bring more people with them when they do.

Signals

  • Entry night recorded at scan
  • Second-visit rate by entry night
  • Party size on return
  • Mic Drop badge earned

Send the Thursday cohort a Friends' Night Double Points invitation ten days out, and hold the karaoke line for anyone carrying Skip the Karaoke Line.

Relationship before software.

We start with how your guests already behave, not with a product tour. If that sounds like the right order, we should talk.
